Accessing Visual Basic Editor In Microsoft Office Excel 2007

1. Open Microsoft Office Excel 2007

2. Click the ‘Office Button’

3. Click on ‘Excel Options’

4. Click ‘Popular’

5. Under ‘Top options for working with Excel’ make sure there is a tick next to ‘Show Developer tab in the Ribbon’

6. Now click on ‘Trust Center’

7. Under ‘Microsoft Office Excel Trust Center’ click on ‘Trust Center Settings…’

8. Click on ‘Trusted Locations’

9. Click ‘Add new location…’ and create a folder somewhere on your computer and use this folder for macros to be saved in the future.

10. Click ‘Ok’ to get back to first page.


On your Microsoft Excel 2007 page press down ‘ALT’ and ‘F11’ this option is a lot quicker though you may run into errors such that using the first option may fix some of the errors you come across.
